Nuendo jumps to another track when I touch my Artist fader

Hi
I use an Artist Mix with Nuendo and have this issue all the time. I select a channel - turn on write mode - press play and the moment I touch the fader on the Artist, Nuendo jumps to another channel!
Anyone with an idea what to do?

Hi i believe it is the combination of auto select and track follow select event or something like that

You have to make sure the fader on the Artist has the yellow SEL button on, matching that selected track.

Yes the channel set indicator on the Artis is lit. But I found that I also have to select a part on the track I wish to automate. So selecting the the track is not enough, so make the artist switch!
