Dear all,

we have just released a maintenance update for Nuendo Live 3, version 3.0.10.

This version fixes an issue where the application would crash on startup on dual-socket CPU systems. Another issue that causes long recordings to stop on native macOS silicon systems can be averted by running the application in Rosetta mode. To avoid this from happening, Nuendo Live 3.0.10 defaults the startup of the application to Rosetta mode .

I have installed the update on my M1 MacBook Pro.

It does not default to open in Rosetta mode. When I set it to run under Rosetta, it crashes on startup. This is exactly the same behaviour as the previous version. In the present circumstances, Nuendo Live 3 is utterly useless to me. When run in native mode I experience dropouts during recording; in Rosetta mode the application crashes on startup.
