Hi All,
Last week I crossgrade from Cubase 13 to Nuendo 13.
PC version, windows 10, Steinberg MR816csx audio.
In Cubase, new project, add Instrument track, Halion 7, and I can play with my keyboard. Nothing I need to do, it works.
In Nuendo I have sound with the Halion keyboard, not with my CME usb keyboard.
The midi in is active, but no sound. Going to the Inspector an activate the “Record enabled” or the “Monitor” button and everything works fine.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Twan
Attach a screenshot of the Studio > Studio Setup > MIDI Ports Setup, please.
And also Preferences > MIDI > MIDI Filters. Only SysEx filters are enabled for both Record and Thru, by default. Could you also attach a screenshot, please?
These both look correct. Could you attach a screenshot of the track list and the Inspector, to see the settings of the track (Inputs, Outputs, buttons…). Thank you.
I don’t see Record enabled button. This is different in Cubase and Nuendo. By default, once you select a track, the tracks becomes Record enabled automatically in Cubase. Not in Nuendo. You have to do it manually in Nuendo. Or you can change the Preferences > Editing > Project & MixConsole > Enable Record on selected MIDI Track.
