Anyone else experiencing Audio recording problems after Nuendo’s 13.0.51 update with their interface?
Cubase 13/14 is still recording Audio reliably, but the Audio recording in Nuendo sounds like the top of an MP3 file (watery, inconsistent, quiet) I’m running an M2 Mac Studio, with an Apollo 8xp interface. Thinking the first thing I’ll try is a full reinstall, but I’m curious if this is a bug that anyone else is experiencing? Thanks for reading.
Mostly good here with my x8’s. After MacOS 15.3.1 the UA 11.5.2 11-15-2024 build 174151 bits started causing “random” TB4 disconnects and requiring a plug/unplug (direct connection, no TB hub) to reconnect. Maybe 2x a week?
I did notice SoundID has been reporting core audio disconnects for some unknown reason - all audio keeps working fine, but it reports otherwise. I only say that because I’ve got the SoundID / Apollo integration enabled.
Recording from x8 into N13 is otherwise unaffected over here (Mic/Guitar/OB-X8/Arp2600).
Thanks for your reply. I’m back on 14.7.4, and considering doing an update just to make sure its not out of date stuff. I’ll keep an eye out for Core Audio disconnects though when I do. For now I’m just using Cubase to record, but its just such a strange issue! ha.
