I don’t even know how this is called, but is there a way to let Dorico automatic place numbers above bars that have the same content to make it easier for the player to follow? For example if there are 10 bars with the same tied note, a player can lose the bar where he is, numbers would help here.
Thanks, Leo. So it’s not one of Dorico’s options yet. Would be great if it would be added in the future, it’s very common for classical publications. Thanks for the work around, I will have a look.
As workarounds go, it’s quite fast, with almost no potential complications (as long as you don’t need legitimate bar repeats in your score, but you mentioned classical).
