O staff line again

I found loads of topics related to my question but can’t get on them, so I’m sorry to ask it again but actually need to cope with it.

In a pedagogical worksheet I l need a music staff showing exclusively time signature, notes and barlines without lines. Is there a smart and easy way to create it?

Dorico doesn’t support this natively, but it’s simple to do with a doricolib file. There was a change in how these are treated between D4 and D5 so make sure you are using an up-to-date file. Here’s one I posted that definitely will work in D5:

Yeah, there was a change in how Dorico handles these between D4 and D5. I think I figured it out and detailed it in this post. Here’s a new doricolib file for D5 that creates both a 0-Line and 1-Line instrument in the Custom category. Additionally, it creates a Clef for the 1-Line Staff that defines the line to be middle C for ease of input. The image appears wrong in the right panel, but is correct in the score. It is very clearly described in that post of Daniel (or of Fred) 2hat you need to do. Follow those steps and the you will have your new Zero (0) Line Player instrument ready for you in all projects.
