Obtain an activation code

Dear all,

I just downloaded Cubase LE. Now when I open it I have to enter an activation code. I cant find on the website however where I can find/ buy this. Could you anybody tell me where I can obtain one?

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Cubase LE comes with some 3rd party hardware (mostly Audio Devices or MIDI Keyboards). Cubase AI comes with Steinberg and Yamaha hardware.

The cheapest Cubase you can buy (non-OEM) is Cubase Elements.

Thanks a lot for you reply. I do not understand what you mean. Do I have to down another Cubase version? In the end I would like to be able to record sound from North Stage piano…

Hi,

Cubase is not a free version. Either you got the LE/AI license with any hardware, or you can buy the license.
