obtaining music score from wav

Hi
I use cubase 8 AI with an interface UR242
I’m new with this system but I used other SW and interfaces

what I would like to do is
obtaining music scores from simple wav files … simple in the sense that is a single instrument one note at a time

I inspected the Whole system but I don’t find any menu for conversion to midi or in other formats suitable for score generating

is it possible? if yes, someone could say to me how to do?

Hi,

Only Cubase Pro can do this (for the monophonic signal only), in the Sample Editor > VariAudio. Cubase AI doesn’t have this feature.
