Am I overlooking a way to notate octave tremolos over odd numbers of beats? See example below. I would like to show this as a tremolo over three beats or a dotted half note value. Can I expand the two notes to dotted half notes? The only way I could think to split the octave was by notating two dotted quarters and applying the tremolo, but it doesn’t appear unless I choose even quarters or even half notes.
