old 7.x project bugs in 8..... workaround needed.

I’ve mentioned here before about the MIDI key editor window and Audio editor not opening in Pro 8.
Rebuilding the preferences had no effect in fixing the problems.

Has anybody come up with a work around or is this just something I’ll have to live with until a patch/update comes along?

Sorry, couldn’t resist. However, I just got back from the NAMM show and was told by Steiny that an update is being rolled out in a few weeks addressing the many issues being reported here on the forums.

Glad to hear about the upcoming patch.

I would rather them take their time and get it right, then get it right now.
