What version of Cubase 13 are you running?

Why do you change the colors in C13 and then asks for the developers to change the colours back for you?
In other words, what exactly are you talking about? Hopefully not the orange meters and white fader caps.

The last one! 13.0.41

I don’t care about faders, I don’t care about vu meters, (yes, I like orange) I mean, I liked the channel Vu meter area, which was absolute black, it contrasted very well with the rest of the mixConsole… In version 13 it is ALL dark, the same color. I think it can be seen well with the naked eye.

Also, in my case, the background color is by default. My color of vumeters has been that for years, and of the inserts, too. The old part is that I installed C11 (to check that it works on W11, and indeed it does, because I want to pass the dongle to a friend.)

Oh, if only!

I thought the OP is talking about the fact that each channel name in C12 is white (the text is white). In my opinion, that’s a nicer design.

I actually prefer that part too. at least, or one color or another. some consistency.

I agree that the C12 version is much better, especially as the algorithm Cubase uses for detecting which background color will get a black font and which a white doesn’t work reliably. It is really a mystery why the designers chose to change a system that worked quite well and that no one (at least not what I’ve seen here on the forum) really had any issues with.
