Am just finishing a 100% clean install of everything on my new Mac Studio M4.
No Migration Assistant. Everything run in the SDA from scratch. (No problems, either
.)
But I did notice folders:
- ‘Dorico 2’
- ‘Dorico 3’
- ‘Dorico 3.5’
- ‘Dorico 4’
as well as ‘Dorico 6’ in /Library/Application Support/Steinberg - the system, not my user, Library.
Is that to be expected, please?
TIA…
It’s Noteperformer doing that.

It is? Yes…
Thanks. Understood. It’s my tidy mind (obsessive, even
) which asks.
Could I - should I - delete them?
You can delete them. Noteperformer will recreate them every time you install an update.
Note that Dorico 4 is the last folder Noteperformer uses since the latest version supports D 4-6.

Thanks, Craig. I’ll ignore them!
You’ll save yourself 13 Megabytes.

Thanks, Ben.
It’s more the thought that I have a pristine machine that appeals to me…
