Oh the problem is that for us on the other side, take however hard it is for you and multiple it by 10, or 100 for how hard it is for us to work with it. Old software literally becomes a career dead end.
Dorico must be a delight to work in. At that though, they went through a significant refactor at 4.5 I think, which was a great move on their part. No matter how good you are a new system needs an architecture refactor 5-6 years in, and it was so encouraging to see them have the support to do it.
