Omnisphere 2 bugs in multi

I have strange bugs in omnisphere 2 with Cubase (pro 14) , in multi when I want to load a sound in slot 2 , I have 2 tracks in cubase where 1 and 2 should pilot each sound the second track uses always the first sound in track 1 … impossible to have the good sound used for the second track …

I think I follow - Are you saying you’ve got your OmniSphere multi instrument on one track, and then 2 midi tracks, with each midi track on channel 1 and channel 2 respectively, but the 2nd midi track is triggering the channel 1 part instead? You’ve checked to make sure each midi track has the right channel corresponding to the different channels in the multi, right?

P.S. Also, make sure you’re not in Live mode or another mode that may supersede your desired output. Also, “stack mode” is pretty powerful if you’re looking to turn the multi into a combined instrument where you can fade between stacks, etc.

If I recall correctly, the Omnisphere FX returns also generally end up in audio OUT A, so I tend to avoid OUT A as a destination for individual parts in multi channel audio configurations, but treat it like an FX return channel on a traditional mixing board.

sorry, I think I described wrong, I just did a little video to explain better, actually when I put a sound in the track 2 (inside Omnisphere) it works but after : impossible to change the sound of the slot 2, I can select another preset but it’s always the first sound I chosen for slot2 which play …

Ah, yes I see. Indeed. I don’t see that behavior on my end (MacOS). Not sure if other folks can recreate it, but it may be a good idea to share that video with Spectrasonics support (since you’ve already got it created).

yep good idea

Spectrasonics answered me that actually when I open the first track I can modify only the preset 1 of omnisphere and with the track 2 only the preset 2 , I thinbk it’s because it’s instruments tracks instead of midi tracks …

Ah, OK. Yeah for that kind of thing I split it up with different midi tracks - something I need to do more of anyway for all my “multi” instruments like NI, EW, Spectrasonics, etc.

More flexibility like that anyway, really.
