"Omnivocal Beta is not available in this DAW"

I installed Cubase Pro 15 and I installed Omnivocal. I launched Cubase and created a new project where I added Omnivocal as a Rack Instrument. But I get an error message: Omnivocal Beta is not available in this DAW.

How do I resolve this?

Oh, adding it as an instrument track instead resolved the issue.

I am interested in this technolgy, however being in beta, I must wait and I can’t imagine it being made available in a future Nuendo.

I got exactly the same issue it will only work as a track instrument and not a rack instrument. Not had chance to read the manual yet so maybe its only meant to work as a track instrument.

I have this same problem. I already had a working Omnivocal from lyric in the project and now open and this comes up. the solution I read is to remove Omnivocal from the rack but I don’t know how.

the solution of creating an Instrument track and then assigning to Omnivocal didn’t work this time either. Instead I got the same message and now 2 Omnivocal tracks in the rack.

I figured out the problem. I was in cubase 13. I have to keep 2 versions of everything as Cubase 15 destroys my scores, so I have to keep versions of everything in C13 as well as C15, if I don’t want scores destroyed. I had had both open, when I though I had closed C13.
