On my ‘big’ computer, desktop i7, Windows 10, 24GB RAM, Fireface 800, Omnivocal distorts horribly unless I increase latency to the maximum 1024 samples, and then it just distorts a bit! Exported audio is OK of course.
On my laptop, i5, Windows 11, 8GB RAM, onboard audio with ASIO4ALL it’s fine and glitch-free.

Old processor or Omni is still beta. On other HP mini works better. Indication shows half of loading. On previous PC - drop out.

What kind of distortion? Clipping, tube, …? Does Cubase’s performance monitor show any overload?
Low latency, is only needed for recording, via live inputs.
Digital distortion. Much better when I increase latency to maximum.
That’s weird, I run Cubase on a somewhat old setup (Ryzen 1600AF, 8GB RAM, 1TB NVME, Radeon RX6400 4GB, Windows 10) using Voicemeeter at 256 samples and Omnivocal works a treat, only slowing down when it has to change voice or recalculate all the pitches with text. Maybe something that was setup in Cubase, TotalMix or a combination of both is causing the issue?
