On iMac 5k crashes too often

Simple song with 2-3 Fabfilter Plugins.

In master section select for one Plugin M-insert and the other Plugin S-Insert and the press Play (Space) → crashes most of the time.
It seems to me that it is in early beta status…:frowning:
In other things it crashes too but I don’t have time to replicate each crash…

The dropouts are heavier and more frequently…

Bad too is the missing retina display…

Wavelab coder like to play around with GUI elements but this is not important for such a program.

Must be stable and there must not be dropouts…it’s the audio that counts!!!

Try not using Fabfilter Plugins to see if you experience some better stability…
And at the very least, use their latest versions.

Aside from what PG said, know that VST2 versions of FabFilter and WaveLab are not happy together because of a side chain related bug/incompatibility.

Aside from using latest versions, stick with VST3.

Difficult to NOT use Fabfilter…
Have the latest Fabfilter Version from February…
Using VST3.

When I switch some buttons, often I hear loud short noise pulses…:frowning:
