One guitar rig VST on several tracks / folders?

Hi cubase experts!

I just bought Cubase 9 Elements, from previously using Reaper as a DAW.

I can’t figure out how to set up Guitar Rig 5 as sort of a “master vst folder” so that I only have to run 1 Guitar Rig on 1 track, and then have several tracks sending their audio to the master track which generates the effect.

I used to be able to do this easily in reaper by using folders.

Having to use guitar rig on each track takes too much effort from my computer and slows down everything! Hope there’s an easy solution to this!

Thanks

I’m not familiar with Guitar Rig 5 but if I understand what you’re after, you need to create a Group Track with all your individual tracks sent to it. Then place Guitar Rig as an Insert on that Group Track.

The easiest way is to do it with the Mixer open. Select the tracks that you want to feed to Guitar Rig (Shift Click), Right click and select “Add Group Channel to Selected Channels”. Name this Group Channel something memorable and then place your Guitar Rig as an Insert on this Group Channel.
