one line or 3 line staff for melody instruments

Hello,

is there any way to have a 1 line and / or 3 line staff for a melody instrument?
I need it in order to notate approx pitch. It was easy in finale though.
It has been used in many classical scores i.e. the ones of Luciano Berio

We’ve been through this before, here, for instance. Nothing’s changed on this front since then.

Sorry I couldn’t remember/find it anymore. Is there a chance for an update that makes it possible?
I made it work again with the music xml hack. But unfortunately I can’t hide extra clefs on an instrument change if I use one for the five line staff and one for the 1 line staff. Any way to hide these clefs? I attached the file…
