One Nuendo feature I wish Cubase had: Reduce Automation Events

Hey guys, I’ve been using Cubase for a very long time and haven’t really missed any features from Neonde for music production except this one.

It is described at: https://steinberg.help/nuendo/v10/en/cubase_nuendo/topics/automation/automation_cleaning_automation_events_reducing_t.html

This is extremely useful when importing MIDI and converting CC lanes to plugin automation parameters. Or in a case where you draw automation by hand and want to simplify it for a part.

I really REALLY wish this was in Cubase too.

Does anyone else think this feature would be helpful?

Sorry but that’s not the same. I’m after the function that selectively reduces automation points for automation already in the project. The reduction level setting you’ve referenced only related to new automation bring recorded within Cubase, it does not affect and cannot be applied to existing automation or CC lanes imported from MIDI files.
