Open Direct Offline Processing Window button causes Cubase to crash

Hi,

using the ‘Open Direct Offline Processing Window’ button in the Arrangement Window in Cubase 9.5.30 it crashes Cubase to disappear immediately without any error message.

Troubleshooting the issue:
Creating new Cubase Project. Empty Project.
Enabling in the Arrangement Window ‘Media & MixConsole Windows’
Pressing the ‘Open Direct Offline Processing Window’ button multiple times the window appears disappears and Cubase crashes immediately unexpectedly and the app disappears from the dock.

An error message appears: Cubase quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.

System:
macOS 10.13.6
Cubase 9.5.30

Please fix it ASAP!

Hi,

Please attach the *.crash file located in macOS Console utility.

Make sure, you click only once to the button. There was a bug, when you double-click this button, Cubase crashed. But as far as I remember, this has been fixed already anyway.

Hi Martin,

please find the crash report attached!

Hi,

Could you try to upload it once again, please? I got a message:
“Cubase 9.5_2018-08-14-080409_Daniels-Test-iMac.crash” is damaged and can’t be opened.

Yes, here it is.

Thank you, reported to Steinberg.

Hi,

I was partly right… The bug has been fixed, but only Nuendo was released after this fix. On Cubase side, it will be fixed with the next update release.
