Open .mid file?

Hi,
I went to file>import>midi and selected my .mid file, clicked new project but the project is blank. I also tried inserting it into an already existing project and it was still blank. I’m not sure if my file is just corrupted or if maybe there is another way to import .mid files. It may not be working because I converted it from a .band file to a .mid file. Let me know if you know how to fix this or if you have also experienced this issue.

You can also drag a MIDI File from your computer onto an Instrument or MIDI Track. But likely the file has a problem.

If you double click on the file Windows should play it using Windows Media Player.
