Open ties over subsequent barlines?

Hello! Longtime listener, first time caller.

I’m looking to notate the kind of open ties shown in the figure on page 73 (in my edition, at least!) of Behind Bars: a note with an l.v. indication, with open ties at subsequent barlines, indicating the note continues to ring through those bars. Is this possible in Dorico?

Yes. Toggle the switch in the Notes and Rests properties section. You can adjust the length in Engrave mode.

I think @ilanblanck wants multiple l.v. ties spanning additional empty measures rather than just lengthening a single l.v. tie.

Exactly - this from page 73 of Behind Bars is what I’m looking to do.

I’m afraid Dorico doesn’t presently support this kind of tie appearance, sorry!
