Open Time Signatures Issue...?

Hello everyone,
I would like to report this two (to me at least) strange behaviours when working with open time signatures.

1 - When creating a new project, then setting the open time signature in write mode, the score disappears. This does not happen if I uncheck the “Time signature”. See video below.

MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) - Monterey 12.7.6

2 - [EDIT_ SOLVED]Let’s imagine to create a new project where you have bar one in open time signature then a 4/4 bar. If I want to add music in the open time signature bar I can’t, it does not elongate. It remains the size it was before edit it or, if empty, it fakes a 4/4 bar. How can I add material to that specific bar?

This is normal behaviour for any time signature!
If you want to add notes to the open bar, just use the global insert mode.

I feel really dumb right now!
I actually tried Insert Mode, but I completely forgot there was the Global Insert Mode (I don’t use it often, but I should of course)! Thank you so much!
