Opening files from Cubase VST 24

Is there a way to open a cubase file that was made in Cubase VST 24 (4.0 on mac) created in 1998? I have some really valuable files that I’d love to be able to open. Cubase 11 doesn’t recognise the files (even if I change the file ending to .cpr).

Does anyone know of a way to get these files open in a current version of Cubase? Thanks for any help.

It’s been a lot of years since Cubase could read the old files. You need the last version that could read them which is Cubase sx 3
