i noticed some issues, when i opened projects from N13. but they all disappeared, when i strted with an empty project in N14 - did you experinece the same?
Which issues. Can you reproduce them every time? Csn others?
Hello! I’ve just updated from N13 to N14, and it’s very unstable when opening an N13 session. I’ve basically experienced a few crashes in less than an hour… I’m going to try creating a fresh session in N14 and import my tracks from my N13 session to see if it’s working properly.

1 - i can not create modulators from an old project - but in a fresh session it is fine
2 - clip curve is very laggy when from a N13 project
3 - midi romote issue with streamdeck (this is not concerned with N13 projects
Hi! i am curious , if iworks better, when you import the tracks.
I am thinking of rebuilding my complete template with N14 - but i will also try to import the tracks from an N13 project by useing the template of N13, which appears in N!4 automatically… lets see
I did try to open up a rather large project that we are working on and it wasn’t as stable and snappy as it is in N13. I’m going to finish the project in N13 and continue to use N14 with fresh projects. Its never good practice to switch to an upgrade in the middle of a certain project. I’m also interested to know if importing tracks is more stable

I have a lot of problem too with old N13 sessions in N14.
So, I had “imported tracks” in empty N14 project from my “old” N13 template ( big project )…All “work fine” in this context ( I had no check all details ) !
Importing tracks from 13 to 14 work fine and the software seem’s more stable .
Is Steinberg working on this problem ?

This problem has been known since the introduction of Cubase 14, i.e. since the beginning of December 2024. Actually, many users expected that the release of Nuendo 14 would take so long because of this problem too. I think Steinberg will not fix this problem due to time constraints. Perhaps these problems cannot be solved because the data model has changed so much. At some point, almost all projects are younger anyway, so they were created with Cubase/Nuendo 14 or a later version.
Worrying. That does not make me want to upgrade right now.
I see similar issues here with projects coming from NU12 (macOS 14.4.1 Intel). I get “Image Construction Errors” on newly imported audio files, and I even saw two complete freezes of the machine itself with the necessity of forced hardware (!) reboots. :-/
Luckily this was all happening during a testing phase, but I wouldn’t try to finish mixes started in NU12 in NU14 right now.

In fact it resolve nothing ! 
When i really connect my input to my track( UR816C) , the problem comback ( N14 crash if i désactivate an audio track )
Nuendo 14 seem’s NOT ready for a PRO updtate … 
I go back to N13 and wait for an N14 Steinberg Update
