opening sx3 in C6

to open a sx3 project in c6 do you need to save it as a c5 project first as non of my sx3 projects open up in c6 ,is this the only route or is there a quicker one ?

SX3 projects should open fine in Cubase 6. Perhaps you could tell what the problems are that you encounter. Perhaps you could attach one of the problematic CPR files here.

i will do but it seems that its not just c6 its c5 as well now so don’t know if its the upgrading the netframe or not but i know it was all working fine and know your not supporting c6 on xp which btw is running perfect so any help would be grateful :wink: and how would i go about posting a cpr file on here ?

Hello John,


it could a “netframe” problem. I believe the current version is 4. But please notice that we did not test Cubase 6 with XP.

You can attach the CPR file when you edit or write a post.

my apologies chris they do open i was opening the cpr files with right click and "open with " which does not work but opening in c6 does sorry for wasting your time , dduhhhh :blush: :blush:

ok i will try one if i have an issue , great work on c6 btw :smiley:
