Ordering a new custom build workstation

Hi all!
I’m planning to order a new custom workstation from a Finnish computer builder (they are reliable, proven good and local, but not specialized to audio workstations) That’s why I need extra help to get this right from start…

  1. My main worry at the moment is choosing the right motherboard. Is this any good:
    ASUS PRIME Z270-A ATX LGA1151?
Is it capable to run video on screen? Or do I need a dedicated graphics card?

My main monitor would be 27" acer touch screen with dtouch. The second monitor would be for running video (mostly) and metering.

  1. When installing operation system (win10 pro), how to do it to leave everything extra (read: not needed for audio work) out of the installation to keep the system as light as possible and running without any hick ups?

  2. What else to consider?

I use Nuendo (latest), I do plan to get a 7700K, at least 16g ram, SSD op system drive, two at least 2 TB drives, TI FW adapter for my FF800…

Thanks/ Bye

Any good for what exactly? Is this a quiet audio PC build? As an alternative you could take a look at:
Gigabyte GA-X99P-SLI LGA2011-3 ATX
and maybe take a look at other specialist PC audio builders like ADK and scan pro audio. My advice would be to get the build done by an audio PC specialist.

As I told in the first post: two monitors. First would be 27" touch screen with dtouch.
Second mostly running video…

And as far ADK and SCAN goes. I know them. Atm my laptop is ADK.

Why to search option for them? Let me explain…
You want to by for example a rope for your boat. You go to a marine shop and the price is douple vs local hardware shop. For the exact same rope…

So, I’m doing research. So that I could save money. Simple.
That don’t mean that I won’t or will use ADK or SCAN.

But the question wasn’t about good daw builders, you know
