Ordinal numbers in subtitle not showing

Ordinal numbers at the start of a subtitle text are for some reason not showing. So “1. version” shows up like “version”.
I am doing this in Icelandic, so workarounds like “1st version” or “version no.1” will not work. Any help appreciated.

Two ways:

  1. Precede period “.” with a backslash. “\.”
  2. Disable Markdown near the bottom of the Project Info dialog.
