Is there a way to insert percussion notation on a single line into an ossia staff?
Is there a way to change the ossia staff for percussion instruments?
I think an ossia staff from percussion on a violin staff is the wrong option to use. Whether the violinist is to play the percussion note or whether the percussion note is a cue, ossia is the wrong tool for the job.
If the violin is to play the note, then more likely an x-notehead in a different voice or played by a hidden instrument would be a more traditional way to express the situation.
