OT VSL Molzer Organ

The standard version of the Molzer organ by VSL is on sale for $US 64 or 57 euros. I downloaded the free trial yesterday and am impressed by the player software that makes changes in stops and combinations a doddle to initiate during Dorico playback and provides for significant adjustments to swell and tremulant and the comparative volumes of different stops, etc., all of which is clearly outlined in the well-written online manual. This is a smaller organ with limited stops (28 between the two manuals and pedalboard, none of which are reeds) but I love the sound and the ease with which the player software interacts with Dorico via key switches for changes in stops and combinations. In evaluating my opinions be forewarned that I am an organ lover rather than experienced organist but if you think you might be interested a free 30-day trial is available at the Vienna Symphonic Library site.

I bought the big sister, the Rieger organ, last year during the Black Friday 50% discount, it’s fantastic. The amount of combinations is endless, the sound is brilliant.
