I think I remember this has been asked before, and the answer was that keyboards were supported (all sorts) but not guitars… Please search the forum 
This answer (from the product manager), or this other (also by Daniel Spreadbury) or this last from Daniel too appeared in the list when searching for Guitar MIDI input.
