Output 3 and 4 in SSL 2+

Dear friends

I use Cubase 14 Pro with a SSL 2+ MKII sound card

I cannot figure out how to set it up so my monitors run on output 1 and 2,
and my loud speakers on 3 and 4

I hope somebody can advise me

Hi,

Enable Control Room. Add two Monitor buses. Then set Monitor 1 to Out 1&2 and Monitor 2 to Out 3&4.

Thank you have tried that but it does not work… When I enable Control Room with those 2 monitors the channels 1, 2, 3, 4 turn red and no sound comes at all

Ah found out now to open Control Room and it is connected, sorry

My next question is, can they not play at the same time

Not if it’s added as a Monitor bus
Set one as a headphone bus instead and it can work

Ah thanx… There is a headphone B with a knob 3 + 4 on / off on the SSL

It makes sense now I think - will try later on… Have been working on the same song since early morning now 10 hours so I force myself to take a brake ha ha

To be clear…this is nothing to do with the SSL or headphones…it’s just Control Room can’t have 2 sets monitor active as they assume no-one does that. So you’re cheating it by calling the second set of monitors a headphone bus.
