Output bus and plugins

cubase 15.06. Im on a Mac OsX 15.7.1 Sequoia. Having issues with plugins not responding when added to the insert slots. Ie Brickwall limiter. I can’t access or adjust the plugin and removal of the plugin requires moving it to post or pre insert position (the opposite one to where you originally loaded it to, before you can remove. Only happens on the output bus.

Anyone else seen this?

Hi,

Could you attach a screenshot, please?

Is the plug loading disabled….greyed out??

If yes, make sure to turn off constrain delay compensation

Thanks for response

No happens on the output bus for different plugins just dead after adding

Nothing is shown as greyed out. The only way to remove it is to use the small arrow key to move its position first then it’s possible to select the plugin menu again and remove.

Hi,

Would you mind attaching a screenshot, please? Maybe we will see a reason for this behavior on it.

Thanks Martin

I’ll try to get a better detailed submission, have tried adjusting buffers with no luck. Posted to see if anyone else seen, but it appears it may be machine setup related due to lack of responses.

I have two working plugins on the bus, both reverb Liquidsonic cinematic room followed by Steinberg revelation, but adding limiters definitely fails, not just Brickwall but other vendors plugins likes Waves L4 also lock.

Need to test with buss cleared. So will create a test project to see if I can get some more detail.

If it’s an embedded bug, I’m surprised no one else has reported as it would seem a common use. I also note a media bay update has just occurred so need to see if that’s done anything re Mac’s memory use.

Will try to get back with more info.

Cheers

David
