Why is Dorico not moving systems to the next page automatically when a frame is over full?
here is an example
עיבודים לשירי אהבה - Copy (2).dorico (1.5 MB)
Thanks

Hi @Matans
I think here is an example of the circular calculation issue that was discussed in many posts.
Due to the many dynamics, and Lyrics, the minimal gap between staves seems to not be sufficient ( in connection with the circular calculation issue…):
one possible fast solution is just to augment the minimum gaps, as shown in the first example, to have the result of the second example.
(I also cleared your pages overrides…that’s why now your title appears differently…, and I canceled your system break+staff visibility, you can use the layout options to hide empty staves instead, and use the Project Title in your Project infos instead of the Flow title, to display the title…sorry).
Also I suggest to put the upper Music Frame margin to 20 in Layout Options/Page setup
ex.1
ex.2
You can also set a fixed casting off value to have 2 systems per frame (page) as well, if you know that’s what you want.
Thank you guys. I am familiar with these procedures, but I thought there is an automatic collision avoider that works better.
