Over wrote the wrong file

When opening Dorico this morning, it prompted me to open a file that had not been shut down properly. I saved and overwrote the file that I had been working on. It turned out to be the wrong file.

Is there any way of undoing my error? I checked Auto-save and Backup files and nothing.

Just found a Backup file in a different folder - WHEW!!!

What a relief! Which folder? (for when we make a similar )

This is absolutely one of the reasons why I use Dropbox. Version History has saved my bacon several times.

See the User Guide about this. You can find (and change) the folder for backups in Preferences.

whatever is set here in your preferences (i.e normally in your Documents folder with a PC)
