Running Cubase 14 Pro with Absolute 6.
Both 100% up to date.
About 1/2 the time I open either Padshop or Retrologue as VST Instruments, and then do anything on the GUI (e.g. change patch, load a patch, etc) it crashes, kills Cubase, and I have to restart it.
Ideas?

are you running a nvidea driver by any chance? In this case, make sure to go for tbe studio driver and not the game ready driver.
If this is not the case we’d need more info:
OS, system & graphic card and number of monitors.
Is HiDPI enabled in Cubase under Edit/Preferences/General? Please, try that as well.

Ha, yes indeed it is and NVIDIA.
I’ve researched a little further to your response and have now ensured it’s the Studio and now Game driver installed courtesy of installing the latest one afresh from NVIDIA.
Also, HiDPI is enabled.
