Page Template help

I have having issues with the page templates. I have created my own templates. I am wanting part name on top left, flow name center, artist on top right, copyright on bottom. It looks correct in the Page Template, but some things are left out.

Here is the template for 1st page:

Here is what it looks like - it is leaving off the Part Name on top left and copyright on the bottom. The top right is the page number rather than artist.

Also - is there any quick way to apply this page layout to all parts?

Thanks,

You could have a Page Override.

In the right zone, in the list of pages, look for any red triangles. Right-click those pages and select Remove Overrides.

You can select multiple Layouts and apply the Page Template via Layout Options:

Page Templates have a Left variant and a Right variant.
You’ve made changes to the Left variant, perhaps not realising that in publishing page 1 is always a right page.
There are Copy Left To Right and Copy Right To Left buttons at the top of the Page Template editor that may prove helpful.

That was it -
I always assumed the first page was on the left - I spent about 6 hours trying to figure that out . . .
Thanks Leo.

What Leo said: don’t be tempted to edit the First page template to look like pages 1-2 spread out. That’s why Dorico provides a First and Default page template, separately: the First template is for the first page of music, and has both left- and right-page options. Ditto for the Default page template, which is used for all other pages of music.

Thank you Lillie
