Page-turn warnings for conductors: Percussion labels and Playing Techniques

Hello,

It would be really useful to have automatic Percussion labels warnings at the turn of the page, parenthesized. This is useful for the conductor to see when turning a page – but should not show in the parts. For example:

Currently with Percussion Kits you can show labels but not with multiple instruments.

These warnings could also be extended to things like playing techniques (sul pont.) or mutes (con sord.).

I’m just thinking of the many times conductors have asked for these kinds of warnings, and currently it takes quite a lot of work to make them, as all these labels need to be hidden in the parts.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen two mallet instruments braced together like that, what is the wider context of this picture? And don’t the staff labels reflect the instrument already?

Staff labels say “Percussion” – and this would be a reminder, not a substitute for staff labels.
