Pan a Control Room Monitor channel?

Using Cubase 12 Pro. I need to adjust the pan on a Control Room monitor channel. I have tried a 3rd party pan vst (TruPan on PluginsForFree) but it causes a crash on Cubase exit. If there is not a built-in way to pan a monitor channel does anyone know a simple 3rd party vst that would work?

Thanks in advance! (yes I searched the forum and did not find an answer to this)
