Hi everybody, I’m searching for a good MIDI device for writing panning automation. Strereo and 5.1. I think of a joystick or so ??? Can anyone point me to the right direction ? Many thanks in advance.

Hi Bart,
the only proper single joystick module I know is the JL Cooper Orbiter, but it’s quite expensive.
I for myself use a generic midi-controller (BCR2000) for panning L/R & F/R with knobs and in addition to that I use a simple usb-joystick for 5.1 effect panning. I’m quite happy with this solution.
Otherwise try the Artist series (MC Control) of Avid, there is a surroundpanner on touchscreen availible.
