Panning of Mono Tracks lost in Group Channel

I’m using Cubase Pro 9

I have two mono vocal tracks, one panned left, one panned right. Both tracks are routed to a stereo vocals Group Channel but the panning is lost - both voices sit in the middle of he mix. Adjusting the panning of the individual mono tracks seems to make no difference to where they sit in the output from the Group Channel.

If I send the mono vocal tracks straight to the Stereo Out Bus, the panning is preserved but not if the routing is through the Group Channel.

How do I get the panning of the two mono vocal tracks to be preserved in the Group Channel?

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Make sure, the Group Channel is Stereo. Could you attach a screenshot of your MixConsole with Routing tab open to see your settings?

Dear Martin,

Thank you very much for your reply. It turns out that the (stock) StereoEnhancer plugin I was using on the Mix Stereo Bus was the cause of the problem (I’m not sure why). I’ve turned this plugin off and the stereo has reappeared from all tracks.

A bit odd - but things seem fine now.

Thank you very much for your reply.
