Part glue key command?

Hello,

Is there any way of selecting several MIDI parts and have them glued by pressing a key instead of switching to the glue tool? I’ve searched for “glue” and “merge” in both the manual and the Key Commands window and found nothing.

Hello,

You can switch to the Glue tool by Key Command only. But it’s not possible to aaply the glue by Key Command. You have to click by mouse.

I just read this and I’m sorry, but I’ve just got to ask. By my count, it’s just one click now. Are you saying
you want zero clicks? Are you kidding me? You need to go on supplemental oxygen.

One click + one Key press.

You have to:

  1. Choose the tool (press Key command)
  2. Click to use it.

Unless I’m completely off, in order to merge several (more than two) parts together, you have to:

  1. Choose the tool with a key command.
  2. Select the parts by click-dragging.
  3. Click on any part to execute the merge.

That’s two clicks in my book.

There’s a key command “Bounce MIDI”. Enjoy.
