3. After deleting layouts and working on the flute, if I click “Create Default Part Layouts,” the deleted layouts reappear. Does this mean it doesn’t affect the original flute work?
A layout is a view of one or more players from your score. Whether or not you have created part layouts for your players has nothing to do with the music you have entered for those players in your score, or with the formatting of your score. The part layout is just looking at the same set of notes that the score layout is and presenting them in a different way.
