The part-layout-selection-dropdown-menu extends above the top menubar on MacOS devices. On my MacBook, this can cause an option to be hidden behind the notch of the device.
This problem persists in Dorico 6.2.30.
EDIT: It also seems that the items over the menu bar are not clickable (at least not always). I tried clicking on Partitur at around the 20 second mark, which had no effect.
What size is your laptop’s display?
For me, the drop-down menu is immediately below the menu control, not to the side. I wonder what’s driving that.
You can at least use the commands in the Window menu (or key shortcuts) to move to the Previous or Next Layout.
I have a 14" M1 MacBook Pro.
Weirdly, I noticed the dropdown in other projects appearing below the menu control as well, it’s only in this project. Is this somehow related to the project?
O du mein Österreich.dorico (3.2 MB)
EDIT: It might be reproducible if you move the Dorico window to the bottom of the display.
There’s only 14 or 16" MBPs. The Air comes in 15" and 13".
I have the 16" MBP, and the notch is above the document title, and not in the way of the menu. (But not shown in the screenshot.) I can also select the Full Score from the top of the list.
I suspect that the menu list is to the side because it has so many items.
I tend to have the window maximized to fit the entire screen.
My bad, I have the 14".
Even with the workaround, I feel like no window element should bleed into the top menu bar.
