We can place items to the far left or right on the mixers but I’d like to be able to further partition the channels - grouping guitars, strings, brass or whatever into individual sections. Wouldn’t that be nice?
If you put the Tracks you’d like to group together into a Folder in the Project window they will be adjacent to each other in the MixConsole (assuming they’re all in the same zone) and you can change their MixConsole visibility all in one go.
Yes, I thought of that after I posted. However, a separator of some sort would help define the groups. Organization and clarity.
I already keep Mixer 3 for the kit with a group track that stays with the rhythm section.
