I was running Cubase Elements 8 and tried to add my Midi Device Sounds Patch Names to my environment. It did not work, Inspector is pulled up and the patch names from the patches->inactive/patch.txt file never popup in a window for selection. I can type in numbers and the patches change, however I cannot select names defined in the .txt files that show up in the . This is such basic functionality I am really wondering why this does not work, basic stuff here. I upgraded to Cubase Elements 10 giving Steinberg the benefit of the doubt thinking this is some bug or something, but no luck, same behavior. Anyone know how to enable the programs selector popup window for sound patch selection?
