Pattern Editor (and anything else) should follow track delay

I often use Midi tracks to trigger analog gear. The track delay feature is very important in that matter. When certain plugins are in use 40 or 50 ms are common values. Now when I want to change the timing and say go from 16th to 8th notes, I need to change the whole track. With the pattern editor it would be much faster. But the pattern editor does not react to the track delay. And it’s internal offest is 30ms max. Thats not enough.

I also think that the track delay should delay the whole track - and react to everything within the track. Whenever I use plugins with internal sequencers I cannot use the track delay. This is a pity as this feature is dope!

Confirmed. It may be by design (in this case your tag “feature-request” is warranted). It might be a bug. Either way it is a pity.

I also need this. It looks like an omission as I can’t see a reason why it shouldn’t work. I hope that they’ll fix it soon.

The worst situation I had with a drum machine that was playing together with drums from a plugin. Pattern Event was simply useless.

Btw Drum Event has offsets for individual drums, which you have to setup separately for each drum and also every single pattern. I don’t bother with it. Using Midi Event with global offset on a track is much faster.
