Okay, I was able to find a fix for the problem by changing the tempo. While not Ideal, I’ve found that it happened with some tempos and not with others, which is odd. I scrolled through using various tempos, most were fine, some were not.

When I contacted Yamaha support in Japan, I received the following response:
Regarding your inquiry, our team has investigated and been able to reproduce the issue you reported.
We will report this matter to Steinberg GmbH in Germany.
While we will urge Steinberg GmbH to make improvements, please understand that we cannot promise any specific actions Steinberg GmbH will take.
I asked them to send me details of the equipment they used for testing and test videos, but I’m not sure if they’ll comply.
I’m sorry, I understand that the Yamaha staff were able to reproduce the problem and will report it to Steinbetg.
I didn’t read the Yamaha support email carefully and mistakenly thought they couldn’t reproduce the problem. The content was exactly as described two posts above.
