Pauses between flows

As a new user of Dorico SE 5, I just found out that when dividing into different flows to rearrange thing there is a very long pause during playback. Is this truly a limitation of this version or am I missing something? ChatGPT was pessimistic on this topic, so I thought I’d check with actual folks. Thanks…

In Dorico Pro, there is a setting called Gap between flows during playback. This feature is not available in Dorico SE.

It’s in Playback Options.

Playback Options is available in Pro and Elements, but not SE, I’m afraid.
